Golf

Mostly photographs. I take a lot of pictures of golf courses, a habit that developed right around the time I noticed a photograph of a golf course is considerably more flattering than a photograph of my scorecard.

I have been playing long enough to be better at it than I am. That gap is the entire hobby. Occasionally I'll write about a club or a piece of gear that promised to close it, and did not.

Tech

Things I read and wanted to keep somewhere. Some of it is genuinely useful. Some of it is a rabbit hole I went down at eleven at night and came back from with opinions.

If a post here starts with "this should have taken twenty minutes," it did not take twenty minutes.

Humor

The lowest bar on the site. If it made me laugh, it goes here. There is no editorial standard. There is barely an editorial.

Those are the three pillars. There is no fourth pillar. I have thought about it at length, usually somewhere around the 14th hole, where thinking has never once improved my score.

Everything here is public and always will be. No signup, no paywall, no newsletter, no algorithm deciding what you see, no community to join. If you want to read something, read it. If you'd rather not, the back button is right there and I respect the decision.

This has been running since September 2024. Mostly it exists so I have somewhere to put things that isn't someone else's app, and so the people who know me can see what I've been up to without me texting them a photo of a par 3 late at night.
